Yet famous DJ Francesco Facchinetti took to Instagram in the early hours of Sunday morning to claim that the 33-year-old had attacked him.

Facchinetti claimed he and his wife were “having fun” with McGregor and his fiancee, Dee Devlin, two hours before the alleged incident.

What motivated the alleged assault remains unknown, but the Italian claimed McGregor “suddenly” “cut” him in the face for no “reason.”

He told his Instagram followers: “Right now I am at the Parco dei Principi hotel in Rome, I don’t know when I will post this video but at 2:30 am this morning I was attacked by Sir Conor McGregor.

“Yes, this very famous Conor McGregor who punched me in the mouth that broke my upper and lower lip. He broke my nose, there was blood, I have now cleaned myself up .

“He attacked me outside the St. Regis in front of 10 of my witnesses, his friends and his bodyguard.

“He attacked me for no reason as we talked for over 2 hours and had a great time together.”

The 41-year-old described “The Notorious” as “truly a violent and dangerous man” and insisted it could have been a lot worse for him if it hadn’t been for so many witnesses.

He continued, “I could have stayed quiet and said nothing to anyone, but seeing as I’m fine and I’m here to tell you this story about Conor McGregor throwing a punch at someone who doesn’t. He’s definitely not a fighter, you could just imagine what could have happened.

“Fortunately, I’m fine, but this person is really a violent and dangerous man. I took a punch for nothing this punch could have landed my wife who was there with me other women my friends who were with me my other male friends and i tell you it could have been much worse.

McGregor has yet to comment on the accusation.

He is currently recovering from multiple fractures to his left leg suffered during his UFC 264 grudge match with Dustin Poirier in July at T-Mobile Arena.
