College protests updates: More than 2,100 arrested in pro-Palestinian protests on U.S. campuses

Law enforcement cleared a library at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, for the second time Thursday evening, and the day’s arrests reached at least 30 people as Pro-Palestinian protests and resulting police actions continued to shake the campus and many others across the country. In New York, police said a Columbia University officer who fired a gun Tuesday discharged his weapon accidentally and no one was injured.
