President Biden forcefully urged campus protesters to refrain from violence and intimidation Thursday morning, saying Americans have the right to peacefully protest but strongly condemning some of the tactics used. Meanwhile, in a pre-dawn raid, Los Angeles police officers razed the tents of the pro-Palestinian protest at the University of California, Los Angeles after breaking through barricades, deploying stun grenades and taking control of most of the camp. Several demonstrators were arrested.
