CHICAGO (CBS) – It will be generally clear and cold Monday night with lows in the upper teenage age group and in the twenties.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny, windy and cool with highs in the low 40s. A strong southwest wind will increase the peaks through the mid-1950s on Wednesday under mostly cloudy skies.
The changes come on Thanksgiving Thursday, with a cold front entering the area early in the morning. There is a slight chance of showers Thursday morning, then expect mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon with gusts of northwesterly wind.

Highs will be recorded early in the morning in the 1940s, then fall in the 1930s in the afternoon. Temperatures will be in the 20s by Thursday night with teenage wind chills.
Thursday night lows will be in the upper teens and lower 20s with single-digit wind chills. Highs will only be in the 30s on Friday and lows in the 40s this weekend.
