Cody Rhodes has other options instead of returning to WWE

It has been reported that Cody Rhodes has “several options” to explore instead of returning to WWE.

Cody Rhodes shocked the wrestling world when he announced his exit from AEW last month. The former TNT Champion has since been rumored to be making a return to WWE.

In what has the wrestling world talking about 2022, Dave Meltzer wrote on the Wrestling Observer Forum that Rhodes currently has plenty of offers on the table instead of making a return to WWE.

“The negotiations have stalled. He has several offers. He has to make a decision. WWE wants the decision to be made quickly for obvious reasons. The ball is in his court. » H/T EWrestling News

Since leaving AEW, Cody has kept his cards very close to his chest, as the former executive vice president has spent most of his time with his family.

Early reports seemed to suggest that Cody Rhodes would be making a comeback very soon to compete at WrestleMania this year. However, those plans seem to have stalled lately.

While many respect Cody’s decision to follow his heart and leave All Elite Wrestling, former WWE star Chris Jericho sees things differently.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso, Jericho said he thinks Cody Rhodes will come to regret his decision to leave the company he helped create.

“Honestly, I think in a few years he’ll look back and think, ‘I did that well at AEW. Maybe I should have stayed. But you can’t think that way. Guys come and go all the time. It’s business.
