He will take on a coaching role with the South African T20 Titans for the coming season.

“Today I am announcing my retirement from all forms of cricket! Thanks to everyone who played a role in my trip, big or small… it was a fun ride! Delighted to take on a coaching position at Titan ”, Chris Morris said in an Instagram post.

Chris Morris played 81 IPL games, 618 runs at an average of 22.07 and pocketed 95 wickets. In the last season, he scalped 15 wickets and scored 67 points in 11 games for the Rajasthan Royals.

For South Africa, he has played 4 tests, 42 ODI and 23 T20I since his 2012 debut against New Zealand and played his first ODI in 2013. The versatile player’s first match in test cricket took place in England tour of South Africa in 2016. He last played an international match in 2019.
