Chris Eubank Jr is watching the world title match between Demetrius Andrade and Liam Williams for a future challenge, promoter Kalle Sauerland said.
Undefeated Andrade puts his WBO middleweight championship on the line against Briton Williams on Saturday night in Florida.
Eubank Jr returns to fight Marcus Morrison on May 1, live on Sky Sports ticket office, alongside Derek Chisora against Joseph Parker and Katie Taylor against Natasha Jonas.
“Williams vs. Andrade is a big fight. If Williams wins, he’s a character,” said Sauerland, Eubank Jr. Sky Sports.
“I would love to promote this because the buildup would be nasty!
“There are a lot of options out there.”
Eubank Jr had previously hoped to face Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez, who will fight Billy Joe Saunders in a unification of the super middleweight world title bout on May 8.
Sauerland insists Eubank Jr is serious about Canelo: “He 100% believes it. Eubank Jr is now in his prime.
“He had the big stage, we saw some tactical mistakes he made in the Billy Joe Saunders fight and probably in the George Groves fight.
“We saw his success against James DeGale.
“I wish he weighed 160 pounds – the man to beat is Gennadiy Golovkin, he’s the one we’d like to do.”
Eubank Jr said Sky Sports last year about Golovkin: “I know I can beat him. I know I have the tools and the style to take this guy out.
“My speed, my tenacity?” I don’t think he could handle it.
“Because of my style, I would stop him because of the sheer amount of punches. Whether it was a cut or he got tired, stopping him would definitely be on the cards.”
