Chicago’s ‘Halloweek’ celebration includes parades, trick-or-treating events

CHICAGO (SCS) — October is fast approaching and the city of Chicago is ready to get into the Halloween spirit.

For the third year in a row, there will be a week-long celebration, aptly dubbed Halloweeek.

Then, from Monday October 24th to Friday October 28th, there will be traditional “Halloweek on the Block” events across the city.

And finally, on Saturday, October 29, the “Arts in the Dark” parade will take place in a loop on state street from 6:00 p.m. at 8:00 p.m. between Lac and Van Buren.

It’s around that time, folks! No video can capture the magic of the Arts in the Dark experience in person – don’t miss your chance to see it on October 29!
