CHICAGO (CBS) – Scattered clouds with temperatures in the 70s are expected to start on Thursday, then breezy and warm in the afternoon. Highs will be in the 90s with westerly wind gusts around 30 miles per hour. A shower or a thunderstorm at the end of the day is possible.

CBS 2 chief meteorologist Alber Ramon said it will be partly cloudy Friday, with highs in the 90s. Chances of rain increase Friday evening and persist through Saturday morning. There will be another chance of rain Saturday night in the first half of Sunday. The highs will cool down late this weekend, with temperatures in the 80s on Sunday.
