Cheteshwar Pujara has become the first hitter in 118 years to score three double centuries in one season for his Sussex County side. The right-handed hitter who is also the team’s captain has been in worrying form this season and has done exceptionally well and been applauded at the iconic Lord’s.
Cheteshwar pujara was on a roll and his stunning run with the bat for Sussex continued as he racked up his third double century of the season. The right-handed hitter became the first player in 118 years to achieve this feat for Sussex. Cheteshwar Pujara is also the captain of the Sussex team at the moment.
The star Indian striker scored 231 of 403 against Middlesex at the iconic Lord cricket ground. Spectators in the stadium applauded the senior drummer after his brilliant performance. Pujara’s Sussex team-mates were also seen celebrating their captain’s beau which helped them post a good total.

Pujara had been named team captain in place of Tom Haines after picking up an injury before the game. This is Cheteshwar Pujara’s 5th century after the 7 games he has played so far in the county season.
