Chelsea vs Juventus LIVE! Champions League

Thomas Tuchel’s side welcome Juventus to Stamford Bridge as the champions keen to avenge their loss to Turin earlier in the group stage.

Federico Chiesa scored ten seconds after the start of the second half to give the Italian side a 1-0 victory, and with both sides winning all of their other matches, Chelsea are currently three points behind Juventus in the group H.

The Blues approach the match full of confidence, having comfortably beaten Leicester this weekend. They are three points clear at the top of the Premier League and know that one point against Juventus would officially secure them their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Juventus have been unable to replicate their European form in Serie A, with Massimiliano Allegri’s side sitting eighth in the table and 11 points short of Napoli.

Burnley dismisses, Chelsea have been utterly ruthless since their two-game stunt which included that unusual loss to Turin.

A four-point lead at the top of the Premier League despite being without Lukaku for several weeks is a testament to both the strength and depth of the squad and Tuchel’s obvious prowess as a coach.

Juve remain a frustrating and inconsistent prospect this season and Chelsea will be eager to improve procedures in Group H ahead of a final round trip to Russia to face Zenit.

Chelsea team news

Kai Havertz added to Chelsea’s injury concerns ahead of tonight’s showdown with Juventus.

Romelu Lukaku also faces late checks to see if he will be allowed to bench following an ankle injury.

And Havertz, who has been Chelsea’s only recognized striker in the absence of Lukaku and Timo Werner in recent weeks, will also be assessed after complaining of a hamstring.

Werner is, at least, in the running to start after recovering from his own hamstring issues, while Christian Pulisic could join him up front.
