The Champions League Group H match will take place on Tuesday, September 14.

It will start at 8 p.m. UK time and will be held at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea’s second group game will take place at Juventus on Wednesday 29 September at 8 p.m. ET.

Chelsea v Zenit: team news

Thomas Tuchel could do without a number of key players against Zenit.

Christian Pulisic is excluded from the clash with an ankle injury, while N’Golo Kante is also uncertain with an ankle injury.

Jorginho could return to midfield while Saul Niguez is hoping to keep his place in the squad.

On the Russian side, Zenit will be without Malcom and Claudinho after their return from international service with Brazil last week.
