Chelsea will be hoping to put their off-field issues aside again this weekend and continue to rack up wins as they host Newcastle.
The Blues have won four consecutive Premier League victories as they beat Norwich 3-1 on Thursday just hours after Roman Abramovich’s sanctions were announced.
Chelsea owner Abramovich has been hit with British government sanctions amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine which prevents him from selling the club.
Still, a special license has been granted to allow the Stamford Bridge outfit to continue operating ahead of their clash with Newcastle.

Chelsea v Newcastle: what was said?
“May be [neutrals want no one to win] but I don’t care, I want us to win,” Tuchel said.
“I tell you it will be difficult because Newcastle are strong, very, very strong. It’s a different Newcastle and they’re delivering a lot of results. So I expect a very, very difficult game.
“Sorry, but I don’t care what neutral viewers think of who should win. I think at the end of the day everyone wants to be excited to watch games and be entertained and that’s what we do.
“Right now we’re trying to have the right focus and have the right attitude and the guys are doing that in a very impressive way and we need that on Sunday.”
