Chelsea FC XI vs Man City: Confirmed squad news, expected line-up, latest injury for Premier League game today

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has returned to training but Blues boss Graham Potter is unlikely to bring him in for the much-publicized Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.

He leaves the Blues without Reece James, Ben Chilwell, N’Golo Kante, Wesley Fofana, Armando Broja and Edouard Mendy.

James and Chilwell are expected to be out for at least three more weeks, but Fofana and Mendy could be back as early as next week.

After injuring his knee in a friendly in mid-December, Broja is likely to be out for the season, while Kante is due to return from hamstring surgery at the end of February.

19-year-old midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka has returned from a hamstring injury to make a substitute appearance against Nottingham Forest, while new £8.6million signing David Datro Fofana will not will not be launched directly into first-team action.

With her options still limited, Potter could switch to the same three-way approach used against the champions in November, although she failed to prevent defeat in the Carabao Cup.

That would see Trevoh Chalobah reintroduced in the backline but a side largely similar to the one that failed to beat Forest on Sunday.

Predicted Chelsea XI (3-4-3): Kepa; Chalobah, Thiago Silva, Koulibaly; Azpilicueta, Kovacic, Jorginho, Cucurella; Pulisic, Havertz, Mount.
