Premier League leaders Thomas Tuchel are trailing the Serie A giants by three points with two laps to go, after suffering a rare skid in Turin in September.
This was preceded by a loss to Manchester City, but the reigning European champions have been shooting at full speed ever since, sidelining everything in front of them in every competition, frustrating the 1-1 draw with Burnley aside.
Chelsea will be anxious to get revenge on a Juventus side who suffered a hugely disappointing campaign by their usual high standards.
Massimiliano Allegri’s side currently sit eighth in the Italian top flight and are 11 points behind the title, but bounced back from successive defeats in the space of three days at the end of October to record three straight wins against the Zenit, Fiorentina and Lazio.

Chelsea vs Juventus team news
Kai Havertz (hamstring) added to Chelsea’s injury concerns ahead of Juventus’ visit, while Tuchel will have to decide whether Romelu Lukaku is fit enough to be involved tonight.
He revealed at his press conference on Monday that the club’s signing record – released since mid-October with an ankle injury – had returned to team training and looked “good”, but didn’t could play only a minor role if he was actually included in the squad.
Mateo Kovacic remains on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, although Jorginho is in good shape after limping out of the game at King Power Stadium. Timo Werner is also available for guests.
Juventus were deprived of both Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata when they beat Chelsea in September and the Argentine could miss out again on Tuesday after returning from international duty with a calf injury and not having traveled for the 2-0 victory over Lazio.
Giorgio Chiellini, Federico Bernardeschi and Mattia De Sciglio are also injured, while Aaron Ramsey remains uncertain. However, Moise Kean returned this weekend.
Prediction Chelsea vs Juventus
Burnley dismisses, Chelsea have been utterly ruthless since their two-game stunt which included that unusual loss to Turin.
A four-point lead at the top of the Premier League despite being without Lukaku for several weeks is a testament to both the strength and depth of the squad and Tuchel’s obvious prowess as a coach.
Juve remain a frustrating and inconsistent prospect this season and Chelsea will be eager to improve procedures in Group H ahead of a final round trip to Russia to face Zenit.
