Helsea have made a £43million bid to sign Everton striker Anthony Gordon.

The 21-year-old has long been a target for Newcastle but the Blues are now keen to sign the winger-turned-striker from the cash-strapped Toffees.

It’s unclear how the Goodison Park side will react to the approach, with Frank Lampard hoping to keep the England Under-21 international despite the interest.

The move adds Gordon to a long list of Chelsea targets with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang another key attacking target.

There’s also fellow Barcelona star Frenkie de Jong who has long been Manchester United’s top midfield target.

Thomas Tuchel is also keen to add a defender and has seen two offers totaling £70m turned down by Leicester for Wesley Fofana.

Tuchel wants to add at least one more player but preferably more with several members of his squad looking for moves.

Among those who want to leave are strikers Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
