Chelsea draw attention to Presnel Kimpembe as Thomas Tuchel plans to reunite with PSG defender

Whether the 26-year-old is a viable signing remains unclear, but some believe the defender could be available for around £50million. The French international has previously worked with Tuchel.

Activity around defense is coupled with the signing of forwards as Raheem Sterling joins Chelsea from Manchester City for £47.5million. He became their first signing of the summer with other forward options being considered by Boehly.
