Charlie Sykes explains Biden’s GOP impeachment campaign

Conservative commentator Charlie Sykes said Republicans were trying to “flood the zone with shit” with their recently announced impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

“To put it purely Steve Bannon: the goal here is to flood the zone with shit to devalue indictments by making sure everyone gets indicted.”

He cited former Trump adviser Bannon, who once said that the media, not Democrats, were the Republicans’ real adversaries and that “the way to deal with them is to flood the zone with shit.”

“We’re about to enter a very, very complicated month,” Sykes said. “This is going to be a hell of a month for Kevin McCarthy. Unfortunately, he seems to want to take the rest of the country with him.

House Republicans have been investigating corruption allegations against Biden in connection with his son Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings. They produced no evidence of wrongdoing by the elder Biden.
