Charged with illegal alien serial killer, he will be tried next year after the case is canceled

Billy Chemirmir, a 48-year-old illegal alien charged with the murder of 24 elderly Americans in Collin and Dallas counties, Texas, is set to face another trial early next year over a failed attempt.

As Breitbart News has reported for years, Chemirmir, an illegal alien from Kenya who was subsequently granted a green card, is charged with the murder of 24 elderly Americans in Texas from April 2016 to 2018.

Dallas County, Texas, prosecutors began the first of two lawsuits against Chemirmir, where they sought a life sentence, detailing evidence that included testimony from Mary Bartel, 91, who alleges Chemirmir attempted to kill her and steal it as he would have done with all his victims.

Late last week, a trial quashed after the 12-member jury said they were “hopelessly deadlocked” 11 to 1, with only one juror blocking a verdict. Now Dallas County District Attorney John Creuzot (D) suggests that a second trial could begin in early 2022.

“We don’t win every case… if it feels like every time we go to trial 12 people agree with us. This is not correct, ”Creuzot told FOX 4 News. “What we plan to do is analyze what we may not have done as well and do better.”

“I always said we were going to try it twice,” Creuzot said. “We will get two convictions and we will not stop until we get two convictions against Mr. Chemirmir.”

In the meantime, the Angel families of the victims want Collin County prosecutors to press charges against Chemirmir for the murder of their loved ones.

“We are sickened to have to come back and hear the same evidence again, the same correct and just evidence,” Phyllis Payne’s daughter said after news of the trial was called off.

According to prosecutors, Chemirmir would break into the victims’ residence, suffocate them to death with a pillow, steal their belongings, and then sell their belongings online.

The 24 alleged victims of Chemirmir are:

  • Leah Corken, 83
  • Juanita Purdy, 82
  • Mary Brooks, 88
  • Minnie Campbell, 84
  • Ann Conklin, 82

Shortly after Chemirmir’s arrest in May 2019, Breitbart News exclusively reported that Chemirmir first arrived in the United States on a B-2 tourist visa in July 2003. Although Chemirmir was only supposed to be temporarily in the United States, he exceeded the duration of his visa and became an illegal alien eligible for deportation.

Rather than being deported – thus rendering him ineligible for legal status in the United States – Chemirmir was able to use a loophole in the country’s legal immigration system, allowing him to obtain a green card after marrying a citizen. American. In November 2007, Chemirmir obtained a green card.

Chemirmir had a criminal record, Breitbart News exclusively learned, including convictions for impaired driving, trespassing, assault and obstructing a police officer.
