As the nation reflects on and celebrates black history this month, there is a growing debate about exactly how to teach black history in American schools. Mary Frances Berry, Geraldine Segal Professor of American Social Thought and History at the University of Pennsylvania, joined CBSN’s Lana Zak to discuss what works with current school curricula on Black History and improvements to be made.
