Champions League betting tips, odds and preview: Close battle for PSG and Real Madrid, Man City to dismantle Sporting, Liverpool vs Inter prediction
The Champions League is finally back and it won’t disappoint with these knockout matches as clubs put all their effort into advancing in the competition.
The few matches this week see Paris Saint-Germain host Real Madrid, Man City travel to Sporting, RB Salzburg host Bayern and Inter take on Liverpool.

PSG vs Real Madrid: Betting Tip
Benzema has scored in each of his last four UEFA Champions League appearances, netting five goals in total.
But Kylian Mbappe has been involved in 17 open play goals which is the most of any player in the competition.
This is the fourth meeting between these two teams in the round of 16 of this competition.
Madrid knocked out the French side in the final game of the 2017/18 season beating them 5-2 on aggregate.
Both teams field mostly different squads tonight, except for a few key players.
Benzema didn’t score in those matches but was alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and now he will face old foe Lionel Messi, who lines up for PSG in this star-studded fight that is expected to be a fiery and close affair.

Sporting vs Manchester City: Betting Tip
City’s Riyad Mahrez has been on fire in the Champions League with an impressive tally of nine goals in his last 10 appearances.
He also played in the knockout stages with four goals and two assists to his name in just six knockout matches and is clearly relishing the highlights of this competition.
City found the group stage relatively difficult, but managed to beat PSG at the top of the table despite losing to RB Leipzig in the final game of the group stage.
This was after they managed to earn a decisive 2-1 victory over PSG which saw Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus score in a spectacular second-half comeback.

RB Salzburg v Bayern Munich: Betting Tip
On Wednesday night, these two go head-to-head, pitting Austria’s best against the dominating German side.
Leroy Sane has been in exceptional form in this competition as of late, being directly involved in nine goals in just six appearances, scoring five and providing four assists.
Only Ajax team-mate Robert Lewandowski and Sebastian Haller are more involved in goals this season in the UEFA Champions League.
This is RB Salzburg’s first-ever knockout stage clash and Munich’s experience might be too much as they topped their group game with six wins out of a possible six.
These two teams met in the group stages last season, where it ended in a big defeat for Salzburg in both matches, with a 9-3 aggregate.

Inter Milan vs Liverpool: Betting Tip
Mohamed Salah has also been on fire in this competition this year, scoring seven goals in the six group matches.
In those six games it’s clear that Liverpool have been incredibly dominant going forward, Sadio Mane also scored twice while Roberto Firmino, who only appeared in three games, also netted twice.
Many of the youngsters on the team have had a chance in the competition this year with Curtis Jones, Tyler Morton, Max Woltman and Conor Bradley getting playing time.
Harvey Elliot returned from a lengthy injury earlier this month and could be placed directly into the knockout stages for his first appearances in the competition.
Liverpool won both legs the last time these two met in the Champions League knockout stage in 2008, winning by an aggregate of 3-0.
Dirk Kuyt and Steven Gerrard scored two late goals to win the first leg before Fernando Torres netted away to secure a 1-0 victory in the second leg.
