In West Bengal alone, there will be 50 lakh beneficiaries of the program in fiscal year 22 compared to 35 lakh currently.
Currently, there are nearly 11 crore farmer-beneficiaries under the leadership of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The Center provides Rs 6000 in three installments worth Rs 2000 each to all registered farmers.
