The Boston Celtics have a 3-2 lead in the Western Conference Finals after a 93-80 win over the Miami Heat in Game 5 on Wednesday night.
Both teams struggled to find the offense early, with neither reaching 20 points in the first quarter. The Heat fought their way to a 42-37 halftime lead, but the game was decided when the Celtics led a 24-2 run during a streak late in the third quarter and early of the fourth.
Boston’s Jayson Tatum finished with 22 points, nine assists and 12 rebounds in the win. The Celtics’ Jaylen Brown had five 3-pointers and led all scorers with 25 points.
