CeeDee Lamb continues Cowboys story in Week 18

The Dallas Cowboys have found themselves in a position where a win in Week 18 can change their playoff standings.
Dallas has a chance of being the NFC’s first, second, or fifth seed depending on how games go this weekend.
So, as the Cowboys prepare for an NFC East battle with Commanders, one player has a chance to make history.
It’s star receiver CeeDee Lamb.
The 23-year-old catcher has 102 receptions this year, which ranks third all-time in Cowboys history.
He’s just nine receptions behind Michael Irvin’s franchise record of 111 in a season.
CeeDee Lamb just hit 100 receptions in 2022, becoming the third Cowboys player to make 100 catches in a season. The only other two Cowboys with more than 100 receptions in a season were Michael Irvin (111 in 1995) and Jason Witten (110 in 2012).

Then Lamb can tie or even set the record with another big game on Sunday.
Over the past two weeks, Lamb has recorded 10 consecutive games.
He has become the focal point of the attack and will continue to see many targets.
With the Cowboys set to play to win this game, there’s no doubt Lamb will be heavily involved.
After the Cowboys traded Amari Cooper in the offseason. everyone knew it was time for Lamb to shine.
He took on the role of WR1 with flying colors and established himself as one of the best wide receivers in the league.
Even though Lamb has emerged, Dallas will need more playoff receiver production.
Michael Gallup and Noah Brown have struggled to create a separation this year.
That’s why the Cowboys felt the need to bring in TY Hilton.
Hilton should be able to bring an explosive aspect to this Dallas offense.
The Cowboys have one of the best offenses in the NFL with Dak Prescott at center.
The combo of Prescott and Lamb must continue its success come playoff time.
