Carnival Cruise Line announced that Carnival Legend will join Carnival Dream, Carnival Breeze and Carnival Jubilee departing from the Port of Galveston in fall 2025.
All four ships will offer a variety of four- to 10-day Western Caribbean cruises, while Carnival Legend will offer two Panama Canal cruises. Trips from Galveston are now on sale.
In the Western Caribbean, Carnival Legend will alternate between shorter and longer cruises from fall 2025 to early 2026, including eight four-day weekend getaways, seven 10-day exotic destination itineraries and a Christmas sailing of eight days scheduled for December 18, 2025.
“The deployment of Carnival Legend to Galveston strengthens our already strong portfolio of sailings from Texas, adding more variety to the itineraries offered, as well as another choice of ships, and more opportunities for cruises to Mexico and other Western Caribbean that accommodates all vacation lengths, “Carnival” said Vice President Fred Stein.
Prior to its move to Galveston, Carnival Legend will sail a 16-day Carnival Journeys cruise departing from San Francisco on October 6, 2025. A second 14-day Carnival Journeys voyage, roundtrip from Galveston, will depart on February 2, 2026.
Additionally, the 2,124-passenger ship will also offer three 10-day Panama Canal cruises, departing October 27, December 8, 2025 and March 16, 2026. Carnival Legend features iconic locations and accommodation options, including 50 suites and more than 630 balconies. cabins.
Earlier this week, Carnival announced the introduction of new vegan menus on two ships and plans to add the option fleetwide in a phased manner through the end of the year. The vegan offerings will first be added to Carnival Freedom based in Port Canaveral, Fla., and Carnival Horizon in PortMiami.
