Carlo Ancelotti breaks another record and advises his son, Davide, to move into management after Real Madrid Super Cup success

Real Madrid celebrations are in full swing as the Spanish giants lift their fourth UEFA Super Cup trophy of 2022.

After winning the Spanish Super Cup, La Liga, Champions League and now the UEFA Super Cup, Los Blancos were in high spirits as they beat Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0.

The win marked manager Carlo Ancelotti’s 24th trophy in 27 years as manager, and the Italian was loving his life in Helsinki.

He also broke another record by becoming the first manager to win four Super Cup finals.

The iconic gaffer was seen jumping and grabbing his coaching staff in a circle while beaming as they sent off their season on a flyer.

And speaking after his team’s trophy win, Ancelotti suggested his legacy could be carried on…by his son.

Ancelotti’s son Davide is currently the club’s assistant coach, and the Italian icon has hinted he could follow in his footsteps.

“He’s an assistant, for sure he will be a coach in the future,” he said.

β€œHe works a lot on set pieces, he has more energy than me. It’s normal!”

Europa League champions Frankfurt held a guard of honor for the now five-time Super Cup winners – the same tally as rivals Barcelona.

And smiles were plastered on the faces of the La Liga club’s stars as they celebrated their first piece of European silverware this season.

Benzema took his Real Madrid goal tally to 324 on Wednesday, the club’s second-highest goalscorer in history, overtaking club legend Raul.

And even the Frenchman, who normally has a serious look on his face, was beaming as he lifted his side’s new trophy.
