Cardi B shared a video on Tuesday showing how she’s changing her 8-month-old son, Wave, without messing up his claw-like manicure.
After fellow rapper and new mom Kash Doll admitted to “struggling” with her “pressures,” Cardi stepped in and tweeted that she “just made a whole video” to help.
“Trust me, you will get there!” she wrote, adding, “However, I feel like the boys are harder to clean, they have more crevices.”
In the video, the “WAP” rapper, 29, hilariously recounted the process as she changed a teddy bear’s diaper while wiggling a new set of long, pointy red fingernails.
“Take it off,” she said as she undid the stuffed animal’s jumpsuit and diaper. “You have to make sure that… if he doesn’t poop too much, I just put [the diaper] until the end.”
Cardi then took a wet wipe and demonstrated how she cleans her baby’s bottom, saying, “You always want to make sure you clean the bottom…make sure it’s clean. So you can turn them sideways. You open it up like that, little asshole, you clean the asshole really well.
She also explained that boys need to be cleaned up around “their little pee”.
Once everything was “all clean,” Cardi began to unzip a new diaper and pulled the tabs around the bear to make it “snug” before closing the onesie.
“That’s the part I hate the most. Cut it off,” she said as her claws struggled ever so slightly to secure the garment.
“I don’t know if it’s because I have two kids, so I could probably do it a little faster. Maybe because I’ve been wearing nails since I was 19,” the “I Like It” singer shared before her 3-year-old daughter, Kulture, interrupted her to ask why she was changing her face. coat of a bear.
