Cannes Security Guard Moves Actress Massiel Taveras Off the Carpet

It appears the security guard who had a heated exchange with Kelly Rowland on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival is back in the news.

Footage circulating on social media apparently showed the security guard trying to move Dominican actress Massiel Taveras down the stairs of the Palais des Festivals, which ultimately led to Taveras pushing the guard.

The video posted to X (formerly known as Twitter) showed Taveras walking the red carpet in a white dress featuring a long train with what appeared to be the image of Jesus printed on it. The security guard could be seen motioning for Taveras to move along the carpet after unfolding the train of her dress.

The actress could then be seen exchanging words with the security guard while the guard kept his arm raised, trying to get her up the stairs. As Taveras stopped and tried to spread the train of her dress, she could be seen pushing the security guard’s arm away.
