Canelo Alvarez is now well into his training camp as he prepares to face Caleb Plant on November 6 in Las Vegas.
The Mexican pound-for-pound king officially announced last month that he will fight the American for the undisputed WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO super middleweight world titles
Canelo has gone through the super middleweight division like a steam train since returning to 168 pounds in December 2020.
He dominated Callum Smith to win his WBA title and win the vacant WBC, then stopped Billy Joe Saunders by breaking his orbit.
With Saunders’ victory, Canelo became a three-belt WBA, WBC and WBO champion, needing only the IBF to be totally unchallenged.
Advance the current Plant champion.
The pair initially began fight talks on September 18, but those talks fell through.
Canelo instead considered facing Dmitry Bivol in light heavyweight, but ultimately chose to delay his next fight and make another attempt with Plant.
It was in August that it was a success and the couple will meet on November 6 in Las Vegas.
The Mexican has now started training with Eddy Reynoso, who uploaded the above explosive workout clip to Instagram.
