Canada Makes Fourth Arrest In Khalistani Terrorist Hardeep Nijjar’s Killing

Ottawa, Canada:

Canadian authorities arrested a fourth Indian national on Saturday for his role in the assassination of Khalistan separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, according to an official statement.

Amardeep Singh, 22, a resident of the Canadian regions of Brampton, Surrey and Abbotsford, has been charged with first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) said Amardeep Singh was arrested on May 11 for his role in the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. He was already in the custody of Peel Regional Police on unrelated firearms charges, the official release states.

“This arrest demonstrates the nature of our ongoing investigation aimed at holding accountable those who played a role in the homicide of Hardeep Singh Nijjar,” said Superintendent Mandeep Mooker, Officer in Charge of IHIT.

Hardeep Nijjar, 45, was killed in front of Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara in Surrey, British Columbia on June 18, 2023.

On May 3, IHIT investigators arrested three Indian nationals – Karan Brar (22), Kamalpreet Singh (22) and Karanpreet Singh, 28 – for the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

The three individuals are Indian nationals living in Edmonton and have been charged with first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
