Cameron Diaz thinks she could have been a drug mule before becoming a successful actress.

Diaz, 49, revealed she moved to Paris in the 1990s with aspirations of becoming a model. However, she only got one job during her stay.

“I was there a full year and didn’t work a single day. I couldn’t book a job to save my life,” Diaz admitted during an interview on the “Second Life” podcast. “Then I got a job but, really, I think I was a mule carrying drugs to Morocco – I swear to God.”

Diaz explained that she was sent to Morocco with a locked suitcase and was told her “suits” were inside.

“It’s the only job I’ve had in Paris.”

Upon her return to Los Angeles, she was approached by a casting agent looking for a “bombshell” to star in the upcoming movie “The Mask.”
