There is a lot going on in the world of Destiny 2 today. Bungie celebrates its 30th anniversary indoors Destiny 2, with a big drop in content that includes Halo-like guns. A trailer for Destiny 2Bungie’s New 30th Anniversary Pack Features Magnum-Style Handgun in Destiny 2, alongside pulse rifle similar to combat rifle in looter shooting game.

Both weapons appear to look like the original Halo weapons, but there is no mention of an official crossover with Microsoft anywhere. It does not appear that Bungie has obtained the official rights from Microsoft to put the Halo weapons he originally created in Destiny 2 and rather did a good job producing lines that bring back memories of the past.

“Get together with an exotic handgun that you can recognize from adventures long ago,” reads a description on Bungie’s website for the Magnum-type pistol. “It led you to glory back then and it will do it again. The exotic handgun is called Forerunner, and the combat rifle-like weapon is called BxR-55 Battler. There’s even armor for the Titan that includes a Needler-style shoulder pad and wizarding armor that includes the Halo ring. The Halo-As a loot doesn’t even require Destiny 2 players to own the 30th Anniversary Pack.

The 30th Anniversary Pack also includes a new activity for six (free separately for all players) with armor and weapons, the grip of the Dungeon of Avarice, and the return of the infamous Gjallarhorn rocket launcher. Bungie is also bringing back classic weapons like the Matador 64, Eyasluna, and 1000-Yard Stare, which can be earned with the 30th Anniversary Pack, as well as heavy player-versus-player sandbox changes.

If that’s not enough for nostalgia for classic Bungie games, there’s even a Myth Claymore (Myth) and Marathon (Marathon) set of armor ornaments.

There’s even a Space Horse, an NPC that will be housed inside the giant loot cave where players will earn some of today’s new weapons and armor. The mystical space horse was first spotted in Destiny 2 during Season of the Drifter, and he has ties to the Nine, a mysterious faction within Destiny universe.

Combined with great armor, cosmetics and ornaments, it feels like Destiny 2 gets a big injection of content in the middle of a season leading up to the next big expansion: The witch queen. The biggest expansion of the game in years, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, will launch on February 22. It will finally see players take on Savathûn and continue the story of the sci-fi space series.

The witch queen The expansion will also include a new location, the world of Savathûn’s Throne, along with significant changes to existing subclasses, campaign content, weapons, armor, and a new raid. The 30th Anniversary Pack is hopefully set to hold players back until February, in an unusually long season for Destiny 2.
