Broncos-Texans moves to 1 p.m., Panthers-Buccaneers 4:05 a.m. in Week 13
The NFL has changed two games in the Week 13 schedule.
The Broncos-Texans game that was scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET will now start at 1:05 p.m., and the Panthers-Buccaneers game that was scheduled for 1 a.m. will now start at 4:05 p.m.
That means all 17 games on the Texans schedule will take place at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. It’s a sad reality of the schedule that the Texans — an exciting team in a big market with the NFL’s top rookie, quarterback CJ Stroud — are playing regularly at a time when several other games are in progress and the Football fan interest is divided. It would have been great to see the Texans in prime time, and we may still do that on a flexible schedule, but as the schedule currently stands, every Texans game is at 1 p.m.
For Week 13, Broncos-Texans becomes the top game on CBS early in the window, so at least a fairly large audience should see Stroud take on the surging Broncos in a game that has AFC playoff implications .
The highlight match of week 13 is the 49ers-Eagles at 4:25 p.m., which will attract a very large audience on Fox.
