Britney Spears and her boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz, allegedly trashed a Las Vegas hotel room during an explosive brawl four months before their last brawl in Los Angeles, according to a new report.
The pop superstar and her boyfriend got into an “intense fight” at the Wynn Resort in the last week of December 2023 that was “so bad” their suite was in ruins at the end, sources claimed to TMZ Friday.
Spears, 42, ended up “paying the hotel tens of thousands of dollars” to cover the damage, according to insiders.
Additionally, the outlet reported that Soliz, 37, borrowed the “Overprotected” singer’s Mercedes-Benz during the trip to Sin City and damaged it as well.
Reps for Spears did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
News of the couple’s volatile romance comes after an altercation in the early hours of Thursday morning at West Hollywood’s famous celebrity haunt, the Chateau Marmont.
Spears was seen in a series of photos alongside Soliz and paramedics outside the hotel after an ambulance arrived at the scene.
While the Grammy winner insisted the injury happened while she attempted a jump, sources told Page Six that first responders were called following a fight with her little one. casual friend.
The Los Angeles Fire Department also confirmed to Page Six that they received a call about an injured woman, but were not given details.
“Britney had a rough night and a big fight, but she is incredibly resilient despite the trauma she endured during conservatorship,” a close source told us.
The pop icon denied the fight ever made headlines, writing on Instagram later Thursday: “The news is fake…I also twisted my ankle last night and the paramedics showed up illegally at my door. They never came to my room but I felt completely harassed.
In a subsequent post, Spears showed off her bruised and swollen foot — which she said was the result of a doomed dance move — and accused her estranged mother, Lynne Spears, of stirring up the drama.
“I haven’t spoken to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened, before the news was released,” she wrote.
“I was tricked like she did a long time ago!!! I wish I had grandparents!!! I can’t stand her!!! I honestly don’t care, I’m going to say it 👍🏻🤷🏼♀️!!!”
It’s unclear whether Britney thinks her mother, 68, alerted paramedics or leaked the news to the press.
Meanwhile, Britney praised her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, for helping her get through this situation.
“Psss this man is wonderful!!! He is like a father to me and he helped me last night!!! I adore and admire you Mr. Mathew!!!” » she wrote alongside a photo of the lawyer posing with a wolf.
Britney’s argument with Soliz has her closest friends worried. Speaking to Page Six, a friend described the former housekeeper – who has a criminal record – as “bad news from the start”.
Another source told us that Britney is “exercising her freedom and leaving (her ex-husband) Sam (Asghari)” by dating Soliz, who they referred to as “a bad influence.”
Britney’s conservatorship — which her estranged father, Jamie Spears, established in February 2008 to control her personal, medical and financial affairs — ended in November 2021.
The “Crossroads” star previously said she would like to “sue (her) family” for their role in the restrictive legal arrangement — particularly Lynne, who she accused of giving Jamie the idea at the alongside former business leader Lou Taylor.
Britney finally settled her conservatorship case with Jamie, 71, last week.
Even though she would have had to pay her father’s legal fees, a source told Page Six that the “Woman in Me” author “wanted to leave everything behind” and is happy with the outcome, which spared her a lawsuit and her kept away from court.
