British musician Sam Ryder kills with a wild version of “God Save The Queen”

Ryder performed an extremely fiery version of the anthem (the same tune as “The Star-Spangled Banner”, thanks to a cheeky Colonialist touch) at the British Grand Prix in Northampton, England.

But some viewers were split on whether Ryder killed with his innovative take on the national anthem – or erased it. Online publication gushed that it “wowed the fans with the iconic “God Save The Queen”, adding, “What a legend.”
