British celebrity couple Carrie and David Grant say three of their children are ‘trans or non-binary’

British celebrity couple Carrie and David Grant have claimed that three of their four children are transgender or ‘non-binary’ gender, with one becoming trans when they were ten years old.
Their revelation adds to the growing list of celebrities who have transgender children, including Charlize Theron, Jamie Lee Curtis, Cynthia Nixon and couple Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade.
In an interview with the Belfast Telegraphthe TV-presenting couple said their four children – who are all neurodivergent, meaning they’re somewhere on the autism spectrum – have an “assortment of different needs”.
The couple revealed they are the parents of Olive, 28, Tylan, 21, Arlo, 17 and Nathan, 13.
Carrie Grant told the newspaper that Arlo was the first to discuss gender identity, coming out as a boy when she was 10.
“Arlo just said in the middle of dinner one night, ‘Everyone, I just want to tell you, I’m a boy. My name is Ian,'” she said.
The TV-presenting couple say they weren’t surprised by their children’s new gender identities – over the years there have been countless talks and signs that this is happening https://t. co/GE5cOONK5G

“And the two older kids just said, ‘Ian is a terrible name. Your name must be better than that. David and I looked at each other in amazement, the response was so beautiful.
Carrie Grant said she was initially confused about the term “non-binary”.
“It wasn’t until Tylan said, in 2020, ‘I’m not binary and these are my pronouns’, that I thought to myself, ‘Now wait a minute, what does that mean? “, she recalled. “And that’s when, for me anyway, I took the plunge and was like, ‘OK, I really have to figure this out.'”
The couple plan to write about their experiences in the next book A very modern family.
“The things we learn, when we work with our children, work for us. It works for other people…we wanted to pass on some of that,” David Grant told the newspaper.
