A British actor who moved to Hollywood to engage in stand-up comedy has been missing for several days, according to friends and associates. The Los Angeles Police Department has completed the missing person report.
Tanya Fear, whose credits include “Doctor Who” and “Kick-Ass 2,” has “disappeared in the LA / Hollywood Bowl area” and was last seen by those she knows on September 9, author of “Love in Color” Bolu Babalola tweeted, along with a photo of Fear, 31, and contact details.
Alex Cole, Fear’s manager, told “Today” on Sunday that he last spoke to her eight days ago and she seemed to be doing well, The New York Daily News reported.
“Since being here she has had a great career and it’s just the start,” Cole told ABC in Los Angeles. (See segment below.) “We are obviously worried and want to make sure that we find out that this is a simple mistake and… we find it.”
The LAPD did not immediately respond to the HuffPost update request.
At least one person on the Twitter feed ″ #FindTanyaFear ” said Fear was reportedly spotted in Trader Joe’s on Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood three days after her disappearance. ABC also noted the development. The Daily Mail reported that the sighting was made by a stranger “attempting to assist in the search”.
Fear last posted to Instagram on August 30, sharing a photo of herself performing at the HaHa Comedy Club.
Fear, née Tanyaradzwa Fear, played Dr. Jade McIntyre in an episode of “Doctor Who” in 2018, according to IMDB. His last role on television dates back to 2019.
