Bright Spot: Little Library Community Project Honors Beloved Teacher | New

(WFSB) – A special community project has sprung up outside a Bristol primary school, all in honor of a teacher who left too early.

Small, free libraries continue to pop up statewide.

But the most recent outside of Hubbell Elementary School symbolized more than just reading.

It was a tribute to the beloved teacher, Deborah Krenicki, who passed away suddenly last July.

It was called “Mimi’s Little Library” and is adorned with handprints of Deborah’s grandchildren whom she adored.

It is the hope of her family and friends that Mimi’s little library will reach others the same way Deborah had a way to reach everyone around her, and her legacy of kindness will live on with every book. given.
