Brian Daboll made sure to enjoy his first victory as head coach of the Giants.
Following his team’s 21-20 victory over the Titans thanks to Daboll’s two-point conversion in the last minute, he was filmed dancing in the Giants locker room in celebration.
The optimism surrounding the Giants is certainly new — the team hasn’t had a winning record since 2016, which was also the last time they started the year with a win.
Daboll, who came on the heels of a successful run as offensive coordinator at Buffalo, called for a two-point conversion after Daniel Jones’ touchdown pass to Chris Myarick put the Giants one point behind Tennessee. Saquon Barkley converted, giving the Giants a decisive one-point lead.
The Giants still needed Tennessee to miss a field goal as time expired to escape with the win, but if Daboll ends up making it, the two-point conversion call is sure to be remembered.
