“I want to apologize for my actions and what I said yesterday about being bitten by Mike Tyson. I was in the moment and got a little ahead of myself. does not take away from the embarrassment I have caused myself, my team, the highest ranks and many others,” he wrote.

“I reacted badly and I take full responsibility. In the future, I will be more attentive and encouraging in my behavior. Again, I apologize.”

Tyson’s infamous bite happened in his second fight against Evander Holyfield in 1997. Tyson bit off a one-inch piece from Holyfield’s ear and spat it out. Tyson was then disqualified. He would say in later interviews that the bite was in retaliation for multiple headbutts from Holyfield.
