Boston police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenager

Boston police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Hyde Park teenager, officials say.

Jessiah Alvarez, 14, was last seen around 6 p.m. Wednesday after leaving her home on Crownpoint Drive, according to a police statement.

Police described Jessiah as a black-Hispanic male, about 5ft 3in, weighing 155lbs, with black hair, brown eyes and a slim build. There is no last known clothing description available at this time.

The missing teenager is known to frequent the Forest Hills and Downtown Crossing neighborhoods, the statement said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact 911 or detectives at 617-343-4566.

Boston police are also asking anyone with information about the whereabouts of 12-year-old Antony Fonseca to contact the department.

Police described Antony as a 4ft 4in black male weighing approximately 95lbs, with “dark hair, brown eyes and a slim build”. The department also says the 12-year-old has previously run away and often visits the South Bay Mall and Burger King located at 100 Washington St.

The department advises anyone with information to call 911 or contact detectives at 617-343-4275.
