B&O Railroad Museum honors first responders in honor of September 11

BALTIMORE – In honor of September 11 and “First Responders Day,” the B&O Railroad Museum has found a way to show people how important first responders are.

Museum staff showed people different types of scenarios that first responders face, such as a train hitting a car.

The demonstration was designed to help people understand the types of issues that first responders face and the efforts they put into rescuing people.

The museum also hosted a bomb squad demonstration and held a memorial service for all the first responders who gave their lives saving members of the public.
