Bloody melee breaks out at Maple Leafs game
The most compelling fight in the Toronto Maple Leafs game Thursday night didn’t involve the players on the ice, but rather the fans in the stands.
Cameras captured the action as one fan mercilessly punched another fan in the face.
“I’m going to f-king kill you!” shouted the fan in the John Tavares jersey before lunging at an older fan.

The older man allegedly touched the fan’s girlfriend in the Tavares shirt, sparking a fight.
Several fans rushed to the scene and order was quickly restored. Despite strong evidence to the contrary, the Tavares shirt fan claimed he was not a fighter.
“I’m not a fighter but don’t touch me,” the Tavares shirt guy told fans trying to break up the fight.
The Leafs beat the Capitals 7-3.
