Curtis Blaydes upset about upcoming fight: Curtis Blaydes is set to fight No. 6 heavyweight division number 6 Tom Aspinall at UFC London on July 23. Blaydes, with his skill, ranks fourth in the heavyweight division.

The heavyweight division also has a lineup of mega-events between UFC No. 1-ranked heavyweight Ciryl Gane and No. 3 Tai Tuivasa on the UFC Paris fight card on 3 september.

However, Razor holds a record of sixteen wins and three losses. His last dominating knockout victory over Chris Daukaus in the second round of the UFC fight night main event had created greater hopes for him.

Blaydes has won 6 of his last 7 fights and is on a two-fight winning streak in the heavyweight division.

Curtis Blaydes appeared with James Lynch in a recent interview and explained his views on his upcoming fight.

Blaydes said: “I would be honest; probably not. Even if I go out with a flying elbow or whatever, I will most likely end up taking the winner from Tuivasa and Ciryl Gane. That’s how it is, so yes.

He expressed his disappointment at how difficult it was for him to land a title shot even though he is putting up an outstanding fight against Aspinall.

Razor had fought defending champion Francis Ngannou and lost twice. If he gets a title shot, it would be an anticipated trilogy fight in the heavyweight division.

“The Predator is at the top of the food chain, is revered as the knockout artist and all heavyweight hopefuls have their eyes on him.

Meanwhile, the facts indicate that Tom Aspinall is undefeated in the UFC and his victory over Curtis Blaydes would earn him title crap against Francis Ngannou.

Losing this match would drop Razor below the heavyweight division, and a future title shot could be a distant dream for him.
