Black executives leave, whites still dominate top positions

Amazon, the nation’s second-largest private employer, is losing two top black executives in a blow to years-long efforts to diversify its top ranks.

Alicia Boler Davis, senior vice president of global customer satisfaction and the only black leader in the company’s leadership group, known as the “s-team,” has resigned to pursue other opportunities, Amazon said.
