‘Real Time’ host Bill Maher slammed the Democrats as the ‘no-nonsense’ party and predicted they’d be ‘kicked’ mid-November session on Joe Rogan’s podcast .
Maher said he believed there was a “hunger” for “common sense” in American politics and pushed back against the idea that he had become more conservative, saying instead that the left had become “more crazy”.
“People tell me ‘don’t you think you’ve become more conservative?’ No, I haven’t. The left has gotten clumsier, so I seem more conservative, maybe. But, like it’s not me who’s changed,” Maher told Rogan, before list progressive talking points he disagrees with, including abolishing the police, excessive public spending, the idea that men can be pregnant, and that people should freely raid stores with a minimum sentence.

Maher then gave advice to the Democratic Party and asserted confidently that he would lose the 2022 midterms.
“I always tell the Democrats not to be the party without common sense, and you’ll be surprised at the incredible success you’ll have over what’s going to happen, which is they’re going to get their a- – kicked in November,” he said.
While Democrats still have seven months to change voters’ minds and make changes to their political narrative, recent polls appear to agree with Maher’s predictions.

According to an NBC News poll from March 18-22, 46% of registered voters surveyed said they preferred a GOP-controlled Congress, compared with 44% who said they wanted Democrats to retain control.
That two-point margin is the same as in a national Fox News poll from the field a few days earlier. An average of all the most recent polls compiled by Real Clear Politics with a generic voting question — which asks if a respondent would vote for an unnamed Democratic or Republican candidate in their congressional district — indicates the GOP has a 3-point advantage. .1 points.

Maher previously called the Democrats a “no-nonsense” party during a November interview with disgraced anchor Chris Cuomo.
“I keep telling the Democratic Party that. The reason you’re so toxic is because you’ve become the no-nonsense party. And people see it on their newsfeeds,” he said. Maher said at the time.
