Big Tech could shut down all Republican credit cards and banks

Representative Devin Nunes (R-CA) warned of a possible increase in Big Tech’s abusive oversight and censorship in an interview with Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow in the Friday edition of the Breitbart News Daily Podcast.

“I’m always worried about the censorship that’s happening,” Nunes noted. “What if these companies decide next year, ‘Well, Republicans, they’re all insurgents. Let’s shut down all of their credit cards and banking so they just can’t collect any more money. They could do that, all these awakened societies.

He added: “It is a real threat to this country. This is actually the biggest threat that exists, is … what Big Tech control over the internet is doing to this country, and what they could do to be even more tyrannical than we have even seen. .

Nunes pointed out that the erosion of free speech and expression on the Internet is the number one threat to America’s well-being.

He said, “Between Fakebook and Twitter and what Google and Wikipedia does and everything else, we’re just overwhelmed with censorship, aAnd so the most important issue at the highest level for the future of a democratic republic is going to be the reopening, so to speak, of the Internet, with the free flow of information, be it media. social, video or news platforms.

Many Americans are unaware of the information control and censorship Big Tech has deployed against them, Nunes observed. Freedom of speech and expression in the digital sphere is “the only way for us to reach these people who are just used to watching fake news,” he said.

Many Twitter or Facebook users are “censored” while “not even realizing that they are being censored,” he added.

Marlow said the dissenting conservative media landscape is undermined by Republican officials who continue to patronize left-wing media to deliver the latest news. Republicans with information to share publicly, he suggested, should do so through conservative media.

He said: “It’s so scary for me every time I see a great Republican smash a story or run to the establishment media, and so many of them do. We have to stop this because if we want to create a huge conservative media ecosystem, then you can’t give your best content to CNN or Twitter.
