Biden wouldn’t be president if ‘conniving’ media hadn’t covered family ‘corruption’

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) on Thursday stressed the need for the American people to know the truth about Hunter Biden’s business dealings and financial ties to his father, President Joe Biden.

Johnson argued on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom” that the elder Biden wouldn’t have been elected president if the “conniving media” hadn’t covered the story behind Hunter Biden’s laptop

“When you have corruption investigations in the public domain; when you talk about public political figures, we do it backwards,” Johnson said. “I think we should start with congressional investigations. We should have full access to all information. If we see [possibility] wrongdoing, then we would report it to the Department of Justice. What is happening now is the Justice Department opening a criminal investigation and then Congress, which means the American public is not getting any information, even though that information is crucial for the electorate to determine s whether or not he wants to vote for someone.

He continued: “You have seen the polls. If the American public had known about the corruption of Biden, Inc., of Hunter Biden, The Big Guy, Joe Biden would not be president. I guess we probably wouldn’t see Vladimir Putin invading Ukraine. The actions taken, the corruption of complicit media and elements within our law enforcement and intelligence agencies have had an incredibly serious impact on our politics, on the elections. They have interfered in our elections to a point that Russia could never have hoped to reach.
