Beyoncé equals record for most Grammy wins of all time

The ‘Break My Soul’ singer, the most nominated artist at this year’s ceremony, won his 31st Grammy and tied the record with his win for his song ‘Cuff It’ in the Best R&B Song category. .
The singer didn’t appear to accept the award because she was “stuck in traffic” on Sunday, according to host Trevor Noah. Noah added that the star is still expected to appear later in the ceremony.
The late Hungarian-British conductor Georg Solti, longtime music director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, held the record with 31 wins out of 74 nominations.
Beyoncé’s wins also marked another achievement for the entertainer: the singer won at least one Grammy for each of her solo albums.
Beyoncé is also tied with her husband, Jay-Z, for the most nominated artist in Grammy history, with 88 nominations throughout her career.
