Bethenny Frankel “not afraid of cancellation” after pronoun comments

Bethenny frankel stands by her recent comments, even after being labeled “transphobic”.

The The real housewives of New York the star spoke on the September 23 episode of her Just B podcast on a transgender child who attended a girls’ camp in the Hamptons this summer. She said she wasn’t sending her 11 year old daughter Bryn hoppy at camp, but is on an email channel with several parents from all elite summer camps to hear the “gossip.”

She went on to tell a story that made it “the craziest year in camp history”, in part because of “politically correct” parents, she said.

“One problem that happened was that it was a girls-only camp,” she said, “and a person with a penis, who identifies as a girl, went at camp and was in the bunk with the girls. “

Bethenny continued, “The other girls saw her, because that’s her. It’s male anatomy, but identifying with a female. So the other girls saw a penis. They’re about 9, 10 years … So the parents obviously weren’t that happy. “
